The energy of arts and culture helps to enrich and grow society by connecting young and old, experienced and novice, and is critical to a vibrant community.

The Bayfield Centre For The Arts has embarked on a transformative campaign to build an innovative Visual Art Centre in Bayfield Ontario that will enhance the many ways visitors experience our Lake Huron shores and Huron County through the power of art.

The state of the art  building will be a creative gathering place in the heart of Huron County that will play a significant role in heightening Bayfield and Huron County’s reputation as a vibrant place in which to live and visit.

Workshops will reflect the diversity of the visual art media most requested by survey results, while also offering lectures, seminars, galas and activities that will bring new opportunities and the distinct ‘flavour’ of Bayfield by influencing the development of new work, making it richer and with a different perspective.

BCA programs will touch the lives of young and old, experienced and novice through  experiences in painting, photography, culinary and literary arts, fibre arts, ceramics, glass making, woodworking, computer generated new media and much more.

Open to people of all ages and abilities, BCA will be an urban space in a rural setting that will allow people to take pleasure in studio use, workshops, an art  gallery with traveling exhibitions and celebrating artists working regionally, nationally and internationally.
